The Monte L. Bean Life Science Museum is located at Brigham Young University, Provo, Utah. The museum opened in 1978, is accredited by the American Association of Museums, and maintains membership in the Natural Science Collections Alliance. Research collections of vascular and nonvascular plants, and invertebrate and vertebrate animals, are available to research scientists and educators.
