*</sup>Gennady G. Matishov is professor, academician of the RAS. Director of the MMBI KSC Russian Academy of Sciences (RAS). He is chairman of the Southern Scientific Center of the RAS. His scientific interests include oceanography, geomorphology, marine ecology.
^**Vladimir V. Denisov has a PhD in geography. He is Deputy Director of the MMBI KSC RAS. His scientific interests are oceanography, coastal zone management, environmental impact assessments.
^***Sergey L. Dzhenyuk has a PhD in geography. He is Scientific Secretary of the MMBI KSC RAS. His scientific interests include oceanology, environmental impact assessments, environmental monitoring.
^****Oleg V. Karamushko has a PhD in biology He is Senior scientist, and Head of Department of the MMBI KSC RAS. He specializes in ichthyology, fishery resource management.
^*****Dag Daler is Scientific Director of the UNEP/Global International Waters Assessment (UNEP/GIWA). He received his MSc from the University of Trondheim, Norway in Physics and Engineering. He also has a MBA from the Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh. He has 20 years experience from both the public and private sector as engineering consultant for hydro-electrical power and offshore developments.
