*A note on Most Read and Most Recently Cited Articles:
The Most Read Articles list for each publication is automatically updated on an ongoing basis according to user downloads on the platform. Please note that this list only reflects papers that have been downloaded from the new platform. To learn how to pull full usage data for all of your articles, please consult the section titled Collecting Usage Data.
The Most Recently Cited Articles list uses CrossRef cited-by data (downloaded on the 1st and 15th of each month) to automatically identify the papers that have received the most new citations over the last month. The articles that appear here are not those that have received the most citations in total, but rather the articles which have been cited most often most recently.

Which BioOne Complete societies participate in Member Access?
BioOne offers society publishers the opportunity to provide their individual members with free access to their respective publications in BioOne Complete.
The following societies currently participate in this program:
American Association of Zoo Veterinarians |
Natural Areas Association |
To participate, the society must support one of two access methods/technical requirements:
1. Blind login authentication
User experience: Access is achieved through a specially configured URL posted on the society site (in a password-protected area that only individual members can access). By clicking on this link, members are automatically authenticated and connected to their society's journal/s in BioOne Complete. Users do need not have a BioOne Complete user profile or log in on the BioOne site.
Technical information: Blind login authentication brings the user from a link on the organization’s website to the BioOne Complete website, and automatically logs them in using credentials associated with the organization’s subscription. The link takes the user to an HTML document that is hosted on the organization’s server and contains script (provided by us) that automatically logs the user in. To configure blind login access to BioOne.org, your society must be able to upload a custom HTML document to their website's server.
2. SAML (single sign-on)
User experience: The user goes to our Institutional Sign-In page, selects the society from the list of institutions, and then logs in with their existing society username and password (the same credentials they use to log into your website).
Technical information: If your society uses a SAML-compliant identity provider, you can work with us to configure SAML (single sign-on) access to BioOne.org.
If you have questions about Society Member Access or how to manage it, please contact us.
