Abstract

The distinctive, Lycid-mimicking click-beetle genus Rousia Calder, 1996 (Coleoptera: Elateridae) is endemic to Australia. In our study, Rousia is revised, and two species, including one new species, R. lawrencei sp. nov., are recognised within this genus. Descriptions of the colouration and morphology of the genus and its included species are provided together with a key to species. The illustrations of the diagnostic morphological characters and a distribution map are added.
