Abstract

A new jumping spider species belonging to the genus Okinawicius Prószyński, 2016 is described from India: O. tekdi Tripathi & Kulkarni sp. n. (♂♀), collected from the Deccan Plateau in Maharashtra, India. Detailed morphological descriptions and illustrations of the male palp and female genitalia are presented.
