Linear orthomorphic permutations (orthomorphisms) of an integer residue class ring I (n) is studied to their structure and properties, and the definition of a linear orthomorphic matrix on the integer residue class ring I (n) is set up in detail. The counting formula and the generating algorithm of linear orthomorphic matrices are created. All of this can provide a theoretical basis for studying the properties and structures of linear orthomorphisms over the finite commutative ring I (n) in cryptography. We can design linear p-permutations in cryptography using the linear orthomorphisms because of their well diffusibility and perfect balance.
