Under the background of one belt, one road must be carried out in order to enhance the cultural confidence and enhance the development of red education tourism resources. The development of “one belt, one road” has stimulated the coastal tourism industry in China, which requires us to integrate the construction of red tourism and marine characteristic towns. By inheriting the revolutionary culture of red gene, we can better develop and tap tourism resources, which is the key problem faced by China's tourism industry. Based on the one belt, one road, we must establish self-confidence in traditional culture, which will better develop and carry forward China's red marine tourism resources. Therefore, based on the sustainable development of marine economic industry, we conducted SWOT analysis, which can better develop marine red tourism. The local rich red tourism resources in coastal areas are the location conditions for the development of marine characteristic towns. Taking Hainan Province as an example, this paper puts forward the red resources in Hainan region, which are important resources for the development of marine red tourism. Finally, this paper puts forward some suggestions, which can better integrate red tourism and marine characteristic town.
