(eds.), Sustainable Development in Coastal Regions: A Perspective of Environment, Economy, and Technology. Journal of Coastal Research, Special Issue No. 112, pp. 93-96. With the implementation and development of marine strategy, the development of tourism in coastal cities has brought new opportunities. However, at present, the development of tourism in many coastal cities relies too much on the input of resource elements, resulting in the low efficiency of tourism. Based on this, this paper first analyzes the role of coastal tourism efficiency in industrial development, then studies the calculation method of coastal city tourism efficiency, and finally gives the tourism industry efficiency and evolution mechanism of coastal city.
