Since the 21st century, with the support of national policies, the strong internal attractiveness of the marine economy has greatly promoted the development of China's marine economy, making the marine economy play a very important role in the development of the national economy. In the process of continuous development of the marine economy, we must pay attention to not only the development of quantity but also the improvement of quality. The so-called quality refers to the total factor productivity of the marine economy, so the study of the total factor productivity of the marine economy has a very significant effect on improving the growth of the marine economy. Therefore, this paper uses the Malmquist-Luenberger index model to dynamically decompose the total factor productivity of China's marine economy, analyzes the trends and influencing factors of the total factor productivity of the marine economy, and proposes ways to improve the total factor productivity of the marine economy. This paper will discuss the marine economy to provide theoretical support for the formulation of marine economic growth policies and provide reference for the sustainable development of marine economy.
