She is currently an Assistant Professor at the State University of Bahia in the Department of Education. ^***TEONILDES SACRAMENTO NUNES is graduated in Biological Sciences (1992), Master's and Ph.D. in Botany at the Feira de Santana State University, Bahia, Brazil. She develops research in taxonomy and biosystematics studies of Passifloraceae, with specialization in subgenus Deidamioides.
^****FRANCISCO DE ASSIS RIBEIRO DOS SANTOS is graduated in Biological Sciences from the Federal University of Bahia (1987), Master's Degree in Botany from the Federal Rural University of Pernambuco (1993) and a Ph.D. in Biological Sciences (Botany) from the University of São Paulo (1998). He is currently Full Professor at the Feira de Santana State University. He has post-doctoral training in Palynology at the National School of Biological Sciences (National Polytechnic Institute, Mexico). He is currently developing research in pollen studies, mainly on bee products. He is a supervisor of graduate students (Ms, Ph.D.), and has a research grant from CNPq
^*****MARILEIDE DIAS SABA is graduated in Biological Sciences (1992), Master's and Ph.D. in Botany at the Feira de Santana State University, Bahia, Brazil between 2002 and 2007. Since 2006, she has been working as a Titular Professor at the Bahia State University, in the Laboratory of Palynological Studies. She develops research in the field of Palynology, using pollen morphology to study the taxonomic and phylogenetic relationships of Brazilian flora, in addition to studies related to the palynological characterization of bee products.
