Abstract

One species of Macrosiphum Passerini is described from the Pacific Northwest of North America. Macrosiphum dicentrae n. sp. lives on Dicentra formosa, Corydalis aurea, and Corydalis scouleri (Fumariaceae) without host alternation. The identity and biology of Macrosiphum corydalis (Oestlund) n. comb. is clarified. The relationship of these species to other Macrosiphum in North America is discussed.
