Abstract

A new species of the genus Agistemus Summers (Acari: Stigmaeidae), A. punctatus sp. nov. is hereby described and illustrated based on females, collected on Grewia sp. host plant in southwestern region (Jizan) of Saudi Arabia. Additionally, the identification key to known species of the genus is provided.
