Abstract

The Commission has conserved the current usage of the weevil genus name Plinthus Germar, 1817 and the family-group name plinthini Lacordaire, 1863 by ruling that Curculio megerlei Panzer, 1803 is an available name and designating it as the type species of Plinthus Germar, 1817.
