Note from the Editor

At this year's annual meeting, the Executive Committee of the Lepidopterists' Society approved using the 3rd issue of Volume 69 (2015 calendar year) to include peer-reviewed manuscripts that include undergraduate students as co-authors. The goals of this effort are, in part, to showcase the exceptional work that the “next generation” of Lepidopterists are performing and to expose future scholars of Lepidoptera to our Society's outlet for publication. The same instructions to authors and the same criteria used during our standard peer-review process will apply to articles that appear in the special section, tentatively titled: “Focus on the Future: Research from Emerging Lepidopterists”. I'm open to tweaking that, however. Should you or a colleague outside the Society that uses Lepidoptera as focal taxa in research wish to submit an article for this special issue please indicate so in the cover letter (or email) that accompanies your manuscript submission. Questions—please email me (keith.summerville@drake.edu or call 515-271-2265).

Thanks, and I look forward to seeing your submissions!
