Abstract

estigated. Of the 46 taxa reported, seven species are new to Greece, viz.: Brodoa oroarctica, Candelariella coralliza, Cetraria ericetorum, Lecanora swartzii, Parmelia serrana, Pseudephebe pubescens and Ramalina strepsilis. One species is new to the Greek mainland (Umbilicaria polyphylla) and four species are new to the region of Makedonia (Bryoria chalybeiformis, Melanelia disjuncta, Polychidium muscicola and Xanthoparmelia loxodes). Altitudinal range and abundance are briefly discussed for a number of species.
