The Dutch Bryological and Lichenological Society, founded in 1946, is a society with 400 members (50 from abroad), which are interested in bryophytes and lichens. BLWG organizes activities for members and public, including field trips, weekends and symposia.
In co-operation with the Nordic Bryological Society and the Oikos Editorial Office, BLWG publishes the bryological and lichenological Open Access journal Lindbergia (older issues via JSTOR).
