About

Osmylus Scientific Publishers was established as a stand-alone business unit in 2013 in Bavaria, Germany, to produce the journal Odonatologica and the bulletin Notulae odonatologicae for the International Odonatological Foundation, Societas Internationalis Odonatologica (S.I.O.), following a change in editorship of those publications. Both journals are peer-reviewed, and in 2021 Odonatologica celebrates its Golden Anniversary of fifty punctually and reliably published volumes.

We are an editorially completely independent small science publisher, devoted to publishing literature from all fields of Odonatology and Neuropterology. Our product range hitherto includes journals and conference proceedings both in digital and print formats and we are globally acknowledged for a high professional standard in terms of production, editorial oversight and scientific content. Today, Osmylus represents the primary ideal of the S.I.O. in providing an independent, direct and collegial publishing platform for all students and researchers of Odonatology world-wide, irrespective of titles or affiliations.
