Chapter Author(s): J. A. Hough-Goldstein
Print Publication Date: 1998
Abstract

Two predatory pentatomids, Perillus bioculatus (F.) and Podisus maculiventris (Say), show promise for use in integrated management of the Colorado potato beetle, Leptinotarsa decemlineata (Say). Studies are reviewed concerning possible augmentative release, compatibility with pesticides, conservation, and manipulation of populations in the field.
