The hingstoni and subvillosus groups of species of the subgenus Scymnus (Pullus) Mulsant occurring in China are reviewed. Among descriptions of 31 species provided, 18 species are described as new to science: Scymnus (Pullus) ampuliformis sp. nov., S. (P.) bulangicus sp. nov., S. (P.) caudatus sp. nov., S. (P.) dasyphyllus sp. nov., S. (P.) devexus sp. nov., S. (P.) epimecis sp. nov., S. (P.) hiulcus sp. nov., S. (P.) inclinatus sp. nov., S. (P.) luridus sp. nov., S. (P.) menglianicus sp. nov., S. (P.) obliquophyllus sp. nov., S. (P.) paleaceus sp. nov., S. (P.) porcatus sp. nov., S. (P.) praecisus sp. nov., S. (P.) selliformis sp. nov., S. (P.) tropicus sp. nov., S. (P.) wudangensis sp. nov. and S. (P.) xiaoweishanus sp. nov. Two species, Scymnus (Pullus) godavariensis Miyatake, 1985 and Scymnus (Pullus) subvillosus (Goeze, 1777) are recorded from China for the first time. Diagnoses, detailed descriptions, illustrations and distributions are provided for each species. Key to the species groups of Scymnus (Pullus) from China and keys to the species of hingstoni group and subvillosus group are also given.
