In the context of the current industrial era, how to achieve the balance between urban economic development and ecological environment protection is the most important issue. In order to maintain the growth trend of urban economy, it is necessary to evaluate the city's economic carrying capacity scientifically in advance, and on the basis of the current evaluation results, to re-evaluate the trajectory of urban economic carrying capacity development, analyze the real factors that cause changes, and determine the way to enhance the carrying capacity of urban economy accordingly. This paper takes Guangdong Province as an example to carry out research, hoping to help the development of practice.
