With the development of ocean exploitation and use, the marine environment has been damaged more and more. On the other hand, the ocean contains abundant biological resources, and most of the marine animals have image expression attributes. It is of great practical significance to study the advanced animation image matching algorithm of marine animals to improve the accuracy of image matching. Therefore, this article designs an animation image matching method for marine animals based on the granular variance. In this article, first, the extraction method of multidimensional features of marine animal animation is described; second, the matching algorithm based on the variance of scattered particles is analyzed; and finally, the differences among matching algorithms of marine animal animation images are compared to verify the superiority of the algorithm in this article.
