Red tide is one of the three major coastal pollution problems in the world, and it is an ecological problem caused by invasive species of algae. This paper mainly studies the nonlinear dynamic characteristics of red tide and studies the influence of the external random excitation on the system. Numerical results show that the external random excitation plays an important role in the red tide bursting. At last, numerical results show that the global fast terminal sliding mode control has a very good control effect on suppressing the outbreak of the red tide.
