Sporting events are an effective way to show a city to the world, and event logistics management is the key to successfully hosting events. This article uses the literature method and field investigation method to research innovative strategies for the logistics management of sporting events in coastal cities in China. The results show that the current logistics operation mode of sporting events is not mature enough; After using the “Internet +” model, the efficiency of sporting event logistics in coastal cities has improved. Innovation strategies include using an innovative operation mode of event logistics and establishing a “one-hour commuting circle for event logistics,” effectively implementing reverse logistics of sporting events, and reducing event logistics costs.
