The results show that 1) there is a significant difference in the degree of agglomeration and development of cultural industries between China's inland zone and coastal zone, especially in the cultural information transmission service industry, cultural creativity and design service industry, cultural industry manufacturing industry and wholesale and retail industry; 2) in the inland regions, Hunan is in the leading position; 3) in the coastal regions, Hainan has a weaker overall strength. This paper also provides suggestions to optimize the development path of cultural industries in inland zone according to the comparison of developments in coastal zone.
