This study presents the results of drone observations on the geomorphological changes of the Dasa beach in a macro-tidal environment with a tidal range exceeding 6 meters during spring tides, introducing the historical erosion incidents of the beach and dunes as well as the current dune preservation and erosion prevention measures. Over a period of one year, six drone surveys were conducted, revealing significant overall erosion and distinct patterns of erosion and deposition, particularly around the groin structures. The findings suggest that future precise and quantitative drone observations could enable in-depth studies of sediment transport in macro-tidal environments.
