Abstract

A taxonomic study of the genus Coenonica Kraatz in Korea is presented. Four species are recognized, two of which, C. sharpi (Fauvel) and C. zhejiangensis Pace, are newly added to the Korean fauna. The other two species, C. absurda Pace and C. lewisa (Sharp), are reported from South Korea for the first time. A key to Korean species of Coenonica, redescriptions of those species, habitus photographs, and illustrations of diagnostic characters are provided to facilitate identification.
