Abstract

Walchia marmota sp.nov. from Marmota himalayana Hodgson collected in the western Sichuan is described. The new species is characterized by fcx = 1.1.3(4), fp = B.B.NBB, pt² = 0 and pentagonal scutum with all setae slender.
