Abstract

The International Commission on Zoological Nomenclature has used its plenary power to conserve the specific name Choeridium latum Boucomont, 1928 (currently Ateuchus latus) by ruling that it is not invalid by reason of being a junior primary homonym of Choeridium latum Blanchard, 1846 (currently Canthidium latum).
