Abstract

Agaeocera macraei Westcott and Nelson, new species, from the states of Chiapas, Oaxaca, and Veracruz in southern Mexico, is described and illustrated. Its considerable variability and close relationship to Agaeocera gigas (Gory and Laporte, 1839) and Agaeocera scintillans Waterhouse, 1882 are discussed.
