The purpose of this paper is to take China as an example to study the integrated planning approach on marine economy and environment and their empirical results. According to the results of experts' interviews and literature review, the integration planning approach of marine economy and environment have been discussed based on the impact of marine environment and disasters on the marine economy, as well as the impact of marine economy and disasters on the marine environment. Besides, an empirical study that takes China as an example has also to be included. According to the results of partial least squares regression, Chinese marine economy has significantly positive interactive effects on the marine environment, and Chinese marine disasters have significantly negative impacts on both marine economy and marine environment. According to the results of experts' interviews and literature review, this paper provides several suggestions about marine economy and environment, as the establishment of their policy management system used for the monitoring, evaluation, integration planning on the marine economy and environment information; the improvement of their laws and regulations system; the development and promotion of their financial instruments; the development and achievement transformation of their science and technology; the promotion of their education and training system; and their regional planning policies.
